Hi. My name’s JD.
I have been doing website design for over a decade off and on and have more recently started doing some video and more indepth graphic design work. I currently work in xHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, and PHP. I am always up for learning something new and look to develop my skills on a regular basis.
My heart is truly in the ministry though. I have served as a youth director at various churches and love working with teenagers and above all I love Jesus. In some ways, this is why 413 Creative Media exists. I want to help churches communicate efficiently with their congregations and reach out to others through the internet. The net is such a powerful medium that is underused by many churches, which is where 413 Creative Media comes into play.
You might be thinking, why is the company named 413 Creative Media. I took 413 from my favorite verse, Philippians 4:13 – ‘I can do all things through Him who strengthens me’ (ESV). I have drawn from that verse for many years. I know that if I lean on Christ, I can do anything in His will, no matter how difficult it may seem to me.
Obviously my faith is important to me, but my family is also very important to me as well. I have been married to my wonderful wife Amy for over 5 years and we recently adopted a beautiful baby girl, Elizabeth Grace, who I cannot imagine my life with out.
You might also be thinking, what does JD stand for? Well it stands for Jack Daniel, no I’m not from Lynchburg, TN. I was named after my Grandpa (Jack) and my Dad (Daniel). I guess you might be able to figure out why I go with JD now.
